Dear Saints,

Our Worship to the Lord assisted by Vincent's gifted guitar playing really brought God' s message to hearts that are not only being changed, but hearts that are giving their devotion to Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Our fellow believers out under the bridge. The only thing standing between their abundant life being fulfilled is their outer circumstances, These are people who are choosing to come hear the Word of God and practice loving their neighbor under even the hardest of circumstances. These are the ones who are and have forsaken even the comforts of this world to surrender themselves to Christ's will. These are OUR Brothers and Sisters in Christ. The least we can do is pray continually for them and when we do be assured that God will make a way for us to be a blessing to them. Their lack can be supplied by our abundance so that an equalizing make take place. We have a love duty to ask God where we can be the blessing for their success. 1. Do you know that some Under the Bridge want desperately to get jobs so they will not be a burden and so that they can begin to have something to give back?. 2. Do you know that sometimes what is needed are a couple of clean outfits so they can look for a job?. 3.  Do you know that a place to put their bags during the day while they work or during the night while they sleep would help them to free them up to pursue what we may take for granted.? 4. Do you know they could use a way to retrieve messages in case a potential employer calls them.? 5.Do you know some just want to get back to their families in another state where they have contacts already established and they just know in their spirit that God will give them the Job and the place to lay their head? ( IF THEY COULD JUST GET BACK.) I know one couple who have tried for two months to get back to LaS VEGAS where a job will happen right away. If God lays any of these things on your heart to help please listen to him. Only blessings from Him will pour into your life if you are obedient to him. Oh yes the Devil will fight you and try to dissuade you but God will build your character and your perseverance if you decide to fight the fine fight.

I asked last nite for a show of hands of all those who were there who had turned their life oveer to Christ and made him their Lord and Savior.   99 % raised and kept their hands up.

They are our Brothers and Sisters. God has asked you to be mindful of them.

May the Lord give you inspiration to be a blessing. Thank-you to all those who served last nite for the Kingdom of God is really within you.

In God's Love with you.

Subject: Saturdays Church in the Park 11-11-06

Good Mornint Saints,

Our Great God woke us up today to enjoy a day like no other. Things will happen to you today that are unique in your life. Find God in all you do and remember Jesus loves you and those you talk to today.

We had a most unique morning in the Park on Saturday. We were priveledged to have both Gateway Church and Dominion Church join us as we all served under the direction of the Holy Spirit. One United Body, functioning smoothly and cooperating with each other. Over 100 people came from various directions to give Glory to God and reflect on the Freedom that we enjoy in the United States because brave Men and Women were willing to risk their lives to the death. "No greater love has this than a man be willing to give his life for another." After a tribute to those brave souls, of which we had 6 veteran survivors with us who were asked to stand to be honored, we enjoyed Praise and Worship performed by the Guitar Brigade of Gateway Church, Their lead singer Nicole salted the Park with her renditions of God Bless America, Holy is the Lord, Amazing Grace and other songs we all joined in singing.

A few evangelists had gone out knocking on doors to bring people to the Park and one of the ones they brought was Mrs Catherine Berry, she was probably at least 65 years old but she had the fire of the Lord to quote the bible from Psalm 34:1 and then lift her voice in her to sing Jesus, my sweet Jesus.

We were so blessed as the harmonica player and a guitar pleyer picked up on the chords from her acapello and vhere they couldn't keep up she added her own shusa booms to the chorus.

Brother Darrell from Dominion Church then graced us with thankfulness of God s bringing us all together and more appreciation for the Veterans among us. He stressed that they were there because they love you and told how their church has purposed to get more involved with the Community, He said that planting churches in other countries is good but we cannot forget our own backyard. Love was evident in his voice as he offered all the opportunity to pray with their group of youth and others who had come to lay hands on the sick and lift up those who needed prayers of faith.

We were then priveledged to hear from My good friend Eric Cummings as God had led him to tie in the freedoms we enjoy in this country to even assemble together in a Park to lift up Jesus Christ with the Freedom we have in Christ to live our lives to the full. Christ has set us free indeed from the condemnation of sin and misery and the Father transferred us into the Kingdom of the Son of His Love. Eric used the Bible extensively and we were blessed to hear from God's Word. One Salvation resulted from His Altar Call as Pastor Hope walked the back seats of the church in search of one. He said He thought He might be saved because He was Catholic but I stressed the necessity to accept and confess the Lord Jesus.  He did and we welcomed him with Gods love.

Wow the smorgasboard of food we had as both churches lined up at one long table to pass out great food. The Youth Group of Dominion church let all 17 faces smile at each person who came to hear. All 30 of Gateways Ministers were on hand also to keep the food and prayer coming.

What a Great God we serve.

Thanks to all who shared His love on Saturday.

Subject: Last nite Tues, 10-24-06

Dear Brother David,
Thanks for the update.
I thought you might show up last nite anyway so I didn't reveal any of your trip. Neither Ed or myself were able to make contact with Vincent. Ed even waited in the Lobby until 8:20,  Perhaps it is my fault for not making a contact with him on Monday.
I apologize if that was the case.
WE had an anointed service. God really impressed me to speak on worship, coming to church with a heart to give to others. using the gifts that God has given us and I felt God telling me that there were people in the service that He was giving words to and sure enough three came forward to speak of God,s Glory, bless the ministry and bless the Mexico ministry.  One spoke to God about me and told God that he sees my heart of hearts is with God,s message to a people who are hurting that need to listen to Jesus calling them to Him.
The Lord gave me so many words that reveal our seasoning in the bountiful table of God,s Kingdom. We are the salt that makes the meal taste Good. We would ask what we could bring if someone invited us to a meal at their home. We would consider what they are making and bring a complimentary dish.  God has given each of us gifts of the Spirit. We need to bring those gifts to God,s banquet. Not forsaking the gathering of ourselves but encouraging one another.  Many are called and they see themselves as beat up bruised pieces of fruit ,  some with the stems pulled out but God sees us as delicious and he wants to eat of our delicacies (the gifts He gave us.) He wants to savor our committments to him and our sweet love for him.. Then he  takes the seeds from within ourselves and plants them in the observers to our bountiful table. Those who have not sat down to eat with us yet, but are watching from the sidelines.
Oh my brother there is so much that is good at Gods table that we cannot begin to taste it all. But let us begin the tasting and see that God is Good.
We had 130 people and I do believe that 110 people were there to stand to the prayers that we gave for our Salvation and the goodness that God gave us in our gifts that we would begin to use those gifts for His glory.
What an awesome God we serve.

Praise Lord Jesus !!!  Hola a todos de los saints of God !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I am back from Mexico and all is well !!!!  God bound up the devil this entire trip and we were able to get a lot of work done.   6 new churches for the Lord Jesus !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  God sent us deep into Mexico on this trip.  He now has a church in a small town in the mountains (Dr. Arroyo) that is 1000 miles away from Houston.  God gave us a building fot this church and brought in a man of God from Monterrey to be the full time pastor.  This church is going to be a headquarters and a hub of  new church activity in this central part of Mexico.  God established 3 more churches in the far south state of Chiapas and 2 more churches in very poor slums in the Monterrey area.  God introduced us to lots and lots of mighty men and women of God and guided us down His pathways this entire trip.  Can you believe it ?????????????  In 3 1/2 months, God has already physically established 19 of His 1000 churches in Latin America !!!  He is pushing us further and further south !!!  That is what I am I am hearing from Him :   south, south, south !  There were so many wonders on this trip that I stayed in a state of awe but I guess the easiest to tell you about is more green lites.  Not only did God give us a green lite at the border crossing at 5am on Friday morning (thanks for your green lite prayers) but He showed us His Grace at a military checkpoint in the interior of Mexico.  At this inspection, there were federal soldiers with machine guns and heavy armor piercing weapons pointed at our vehicles as we were stopped on the road at an abandoned, graffitti encased gas station.  As we approached, we noticed that the federales were stopping all of the vehicles and removing all of the property from the cars and searching them one by one.  When our turn came, Pastor Jonatan asked the federal officer if he wanted his ID and my visa.  The officer said he did not know why he was asking to show our ID'S as we had a green lite and please drive on to our destination.  Saints, we did not see "ANY LITES" in this old abandoned gas station.  I know it was God again showing us He has His Hand on us and His 1000 churches in Latin America.  God gives us green lites even when there ain't no lites !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Pastor Jonatan then said that on my future trips we are not longer going to take the time to obtain me a tourist visa as in the 5 trips to Mexico, no official has yet asked to see it !!!!!!!  He is a Holy, Good, Precious and Loving God !!!   It is my honor to serve Him and each one of you !!!  I love and adore our GOD and each one of you !!!  All of this is for His Glory to lift up His poor,     bro david

Subject: September Mexico Church Birthing Trip

Praise our precious Lord Jesus!!!  His love is so tender and so sweet.  I pray that He will hug each one of you with His Spirit this morning and fill your minds with His glorious Grace !!!  All by the will and mercy of our Father !!!  Here's the victorious scorecard of the Lord's for the past 6 days:  GOD set up a partnership between us and a food supply ministry warehouse in Mcallen, Tx. that is going to supply all of the food needs of our churches on the border; GOD gave us favor with the police in Alamo and made them bless us and not interfere with us ;  GOD mercifully gave us a green lite again at the border and we really needed it as we had Sister Susan Degner's Land Cruiser loaded down with goods for His churches;    GOD gave us the honor of birthing 5 more churches: one in a poor neighborhood in Rio Bravo, one adjacent to a trash dump in Monterrey at the base of the beautiful mountain, El Cielo de la Silla. ( This church has a precious sister pastor, Pastor Alma.  She is so very humble but at the same time, so very powerful.  You will absolutely adore her !!! ), and 3 churches for homeless people in 3 more cities in the state of Chiapas;  GOD honored us by allowing us to attend many, many church services and see His glory in the many salvations at each and every service with people being saved from 8 years old to 80 years old !!!!!!!!!!!!! ;  GOD healed us when the enemy attacked our bodies with sickness and gave us the strength to endure when we wanted to lay down and give up;  GOD allowed us to see children in the trash dump receive what probably was their first new toy in their entire life.  I do not ever need to have any more joy given to me in my lifetime.  If I am ever depressed, all I have to do is remember the joyous, gleeful smiles and laughter of those trash dump children as they were handed their toys.  I have never in my life seen such joy !!!  As we left the trash dump church in our van, the image of one little beautiful 4 year old girl holding up a new barbie doll in one hand and pointing vigorously at the doll with her other hand, with her mouth wide open screaming "Muchas Gracias" over and over again to us as we drove past her, is imprinted in my mind forever;  GOD gave us the honor of serving Him with His mighty men and women of Mexico whose calling is the same as ours.  Men and women like God's Director of Northern Mexico, Pastor Jonatan and His precious wife, Sister Carolina.  Without them, our job in Mexico would indeed be very difficult and dangerous.  They love me as a member of their family as do all of the people of Mexico.  Our calling is one united calling :  washing the feet of the poor and hopeless in Latin America !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   I know you were not there in person to see this Glory but please trust in what I say:  Everytime someone gets saved in His churches in Mexico and Houston, you get a jewel set in your crown in Heaven.  Our crowns are getting mighty beautiful, encrusted and heavy!!!  All of this glory goes to His Holy Name !!!  I love and adore Him and each one of you and am here to serve and wash your feet,  bro david

Subject: Tuesday's Evening Service

Brothers and Sister in Christ,

Brother David is in meetings this morning that likely will decide the fate of his secular job.  His company was bought out and he senses they are moving him out.  Please pray for Brother David and 1000 Hills Ministry that God’s will shall manifest boldly and with certainty and that the Holy Spirit will guide Brother David’s decisions and actions so that God is glorified in all that transpires with his secular boss and the continuation or termination of his job.

I think we all know Brother David’s real boss!  J  And I for one am so excited that he may now be stepping forward as a full time apostle for God’s work here on earth!  What a great time that we live in.  All Praise and Glory be to God.

Last night’s service was spectacular and anointed with the Holy Spirit.  Our normal Tuesday night praise and worship leader Brother Vincent fell sick, please pray for his complete healing.  God provided Praise and Worship through brother Julian whose acapello singing glorified God and renewed our congregation.  Brother Julian is now two weeks off the street and is glowing with the Holy Spirit – he is a site for sore eyes!

Brother Ralph shared his testimony,  now at 59 years old God is transforming him, providing him clean clothes, daily shower and most of all hope and certainly of his salvation in Jesus Christ.  Brother Ralph is one of God’s warriors serving 1000 Hills ministry faithfully as an usher.  We are blessed to watch his transformed each and every day.

Brother TJ (Trust Jesus) the prophet shared of his 12 year walk with Christ, how he was lead from California to Houston, being obedient to God’s call, knowing that God has a great work for him in Houston, Texas.  TJ is certain that God is doing great works here in Houston Texas that we are fortunate to be a part of.

Brother Mark shared of his vision for the 15 story Homeless shelter that God has planned for Houston.  He has great clarity and vision into how God is unfolding this resource soon here in Houston.

Brother David then encouraged seekers to commit themselves to the belief in Jesus Christ death and resurrection.  Many joined his call by overtly committing themselves as new believers.  Many other congregants recommitted themselves to Christ and collectively all of us verbally confessed our beliefs in Christ death and resurrection.  Brother David shared of the progress in HIS church as it grows and manifest now on BOTH ENDS of the fine country of Mexico.  8 churches established with others being prepared for launch.  All praise and Glory be to God.

All enjoyed pizza, salad, sodas and fellowship!

Please come out next Tuesday and visit.  I arrived literally sick and tired.  Within 10 minutes I was filled by the spirit and completely restored to physical health.  It’s my new Tuesday night health spa – come join us!

Blessed and most grateful to serve,

Sincerely,

RAD

Subject: Praise God for not one but 2 "green Lites" !!!!!!!!!

Praise our precious God, the Lord Jesus Christ !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   I'm back safe and sound !      Your prayers were honored by our Father as the Holy Spirit gave us not one but 2 green lites!!!!!!!!!!!  The van already has a Mexico title and license plates !  The chairs are in the churches !   The children are walking to school as I type this am with brand new backpacks loaded with school supplies !  God now has 8 churches in Mexico !!!  A new 5 day a week before school church for children with a daily 15 minute salvation message and breakfast !!!  God has a new church in Chiapas which is at the far southern tip of Mexico for homeless drunks who live and die in the streets as there is no help, spiritual or physical, of any type provided for them.  The pastor the Lord picked for this church has been under a lots of persecution as Christians are hated by many in this state.  Last week, he was attacked and beaten and lost several teeth but he never missed a day serving the Lord.  Praise God for sending us such mighty men and women of God !!!  I attended many church services in Reynosa and was so very impressed with the zeal and eagerness to serve God displayed by the pastors and ministers in Mexico.  They are shepherds over the poor and hopeless and are willing to suffer and die for them if necessary.  I just have to tell you the green lite accounts.  I know all of ya'll were praying and some of you were praying at 5am when I approached the border lite. When it turned green,  I was shouting praise to the Lord as I drove past the lite into Mexico!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  The next day when the van was sent back to the border for Mexico registration, the pastor who took the van for the inspection was told by the same custom agents who were working the border when I crossed that as I approached the lite, all 3 of them voted to give me a red lite for a good search as it was very suspicious to see a white-haired old american man driving a van with dark windows into Mexico at 5am.  They also said that is their policy to give red lites to all american vehicles with no front license plates.  Our van only had a rear plate.  But God made a new policy for Mexico !!  They said as I sat In the van waiting for the lite, they all decided, from their search area located about 100 feet away from me, to red lite me and pull me over to the search and seize area.  But amazingly, none of them could hit the red lite switch.  They said it was weird.  They just could not red lite me.  Finally, one customs agent stood up and slowly hit the green lite and they all watched in amazement as I sped into Mexico !!!!!!!!!!!!!   Praise God !!!!!!!!!!!!!!    Praise God !!!!!!!!!!!!!!    Praise God !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  This all happened on Fri morning at 5am.  On Sun morning at 11am, we had to cross again as Pastor Kenneth Brown showed up with a trailer full of kids backpacks.  I said a trailer full and this was especially difficult also as we did not have the required title to the trailer for crossing into Mexico as this trailer is on loan to us.  Of course I did not relay any of this to Pastor Brown as we prepared to cross as he looked nervous enuff as it was.  We used a different crossing and as we stopped for the lite we were praying hard for a green lite.  But guess what, we didn't get one.  But we didn't get a red one either.  The lite did not change to green or red.  We just sat at the lite crying out to God for a green lite as the custom agents sat in their office and stared at us.  Pastor Brown then told me that he could not take this anymore and that he was just going to drive thru into Mexico without waiting for any kind of lite.  I stopped him by telling him that Mexico jails are not a good place to live in for a few months.  I closed my eyes and told God that none of the backpacks belonged to us but they were His property that He was giving to His poor children in Reynosa and please give us a red lite so they do not get taken away from us.  When I opened my eyes, the lite was green !!!!!!!!!!!   Praise God !!!   Praise God !!!  Praise God !!!  We sped into Mexico, not even slowing down for the huge speed bumps we bounced over as we entered the dusty streets of Reynosa.  You were all there with us.  You were all there to see the many salvations and deliverences !!!!!!!!!!!   You were all there with us to feed the hungry in the trash dumps !!!!  You are all receiving jewels in your crowns for doing this special job for our Father.  1000 churches in Latin America is His will and thru the finished works of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the power of the Holy Spirit, His 1000 churches are already done !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   I thank each one of you from the bottom of my heart for all of your prayers and support !!!  I love you !!!  bro david

Dear Friends,

Well Praise to Our Great God!

Brother David Got the GREEN LIGhT. Funny Story how it all happened  (I,ll let him tell it) He is still in Mexico and Pastor Brown is with him. Pastor Brown left Saturday nite at midnite with at least 185 backpacks,  These packs are so cool because they have little speakers in them.  There is a compartment that holds a portable CD player and it has a wire that hooks into the CD player and then plays music out the little speakers.

If all the kids from the churches have them we should get them all praise and worship music in spanish and english and they will carry the gospel everywhere they go.

There were also many school supplies that were provided by Walking Faith Ministries.

They are so good about listening for God's direction in the blessed path of giving.

WE HAVE Another Church too !  It will be set-up just outside of a poor neighborhood that has 80 to 100 Children in it.  Every morning Monday thru Friday, food will be given out so that the kids traveling, walking to school will get breakfast and hear the gospel.  Save em while they are young, break down strongholds while they are small. That will be Church # 7.  Please keep praying, anytime you pray there is a church service going on somewhere under the 1000 Hills ministry.. ALL Praise to the Lord Jesus!!!!!!! He has given us a great work to do!!!.

Sundays service was sponsored by Cy-fair Christian Church and they were awesome as they always are.  We had 2 testimonies, If you remember the man who asked for size 11 shoes one month ago. His shoes had completely disintegrated off his feet. A minister who was visiting with the band from Canopy had taken off his own shoes and given them to Jim  Jim who will be 70 years old soon now has a job and is working with a construction company He has been blessed to be a reader twice under the bridge and his down to earth humor is uplifting.

Alice came and gave an awesome testimony of Gods goodness in her life.  She was raised in church but never really made Jesus her own until one day she was out driving down 1960 and she started telling God that her life with her husband Bryce and her kids was great but she still felt an emptiness inside.  As she rededicated to Jesus and made him her own She had a visitation in the Spirit  Jesus came to assure his love for her and she was now assuring His Love for all who were listening to this testimony.

It was a powerful moving by the Holy Spirit and a strong annointing is upon Alice to preach and teach the gospel in everyplace God leads her.

We had almost full participation in the sinners prayer and many came up for Prayer time at the altar for at least 15 minutes.

Chicken and Dumplings and brownies fed 150 with first and seconds and some thirds.

Wow, if you have not been blessed lately, you need to come out and be blessed.

We need you and we miss you alll Saints.

Jesus our Lord loves you so much and we do too!!!

Sincerly,

Praise Lord Jesus !!!  We just got blessed !!!  I was just looking at the website of a ministry on the border that provides short term mission trips for churches all over the country into Mexico.  I met the founders, Clay and Angie Anderson, on my last trip and discovered they had visited 2 of our churches with church groups.  I did not know they had fotos of the churches on their website till rite now.  Please go to www.uponthisrock.org  and go to photo gallery.  To see 3 of our churches, open up Horsecreek Church of God July/06, Greeneville Church of God July/06, and Immanuel First Baptist Church June/06.  Some of the fotos are mixed in from other locations but these fotos will give you a taste of what God is doing in Mexico.  Also foto # 5 under the Horsecreek fotos is a good foto of the Lord's overseer of the 6 churches in Reynosa, Pastor Jonathan, his wife Sister Carolina, their daughter, Catalina, and their son, Jonathan,Jr.   Please pray over all of these fotos especially this one.  Praise Our HOLY GOD !!!  I love and adore HIM and each one of you,  I am so excited to share these fotos with you,  bro david

Dear Saints,
Who is our Glorious King?
We learn more and more about him every time we come together to worship.
He showed elements of power and grace last nite. He also showed us the giftings in the Body of Christ.
Pastor Hope opened the service reading from Isa praising our Lord of heavens and earth who raises up and abases Kings of the earth.
Prayer that binds the spirits of darkness that seek to veil the minds and hearts of men and women God has sent to the service to hear the Word.
One man whom we have had trouble with before who came only to sell bus passes to our seated congregants led me to pray that Jesus take the authority that he did with the religious leaders of his day and drive out those who made the House of His Father a marketplace. Our Fathers House shalll be called a House of Prayer like Jesus wanted. The man then sat down and did not cause anymore disturbance.
Joshua, a young minister that came with Sister Glenda was given opportunity to exercise his gift of song. He sang three songs that brought Glory to God.
Then Sister Glenda preached with a power and zeal that would humble any wicked man. She handled the Word of God aright from John the 1st Chapter.
She ended in an altar call which brought 5 people to the front to pray with.
Pastor Hope felt led to make the second altar Call which brought 2 more people up for rededication. All joined in prayers of repentance and we had a generous outpouring with almost 100 percent participation in the offering to the Lord.
Pastor Kenneth Brown brought out 120 lbs of roasted chicken and it was gobbled up by 78 congregants with everyone getting seconds.
Oh and remember the man who was selling bus passes, he came to the altar for prayer.
How about you, have you talked to Our Lord today?
Pastor Hope

Sincerly,
Steve Hope

Praise our Lord Jesus Christ !!!  I can tell you about last nite's service under the Pierce bridge in just a couple of sentences !!!  142 in the congregation.  20 saved !!!  50 turned back to Father !!!  And when the service ended, the congregation was shouting repeatedly to God :  " He is Holy, He is Holy, He is Holy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Nuff said !    I can also tell you about Mexico without using many words: God now has 6 churches with pastors in Reynosa, Mexico. 3 in different trash dumps.  3 in poor, poor neighborhoods.  To make me feel at home, one of the churches is under a river bridge!!!  We now have services at all hours of the day and nite in Mexico and Texas.  Don't worry about specific times as any time you pray, there will be a service starting somewhere within His 8 churches within the hour.  Back to Houston business, God provided the 26 cots to the needy mission here in Houston so their members don't have to sleep on the floor.  He used Cy-Fair Christian Church and their incredible outreach director, sister Teresa and her husband, Danny to not only supply the cots at cost thru a Cy-fair congregant's business (www.texsport.com  ; please use them for all of your outdoor and camping needs) but Teresa and Danny and other Cy-fair congregants paid in full the cost of the cots and Texsport even delivered the cots for free.  It cost 1000 Hills nothing to help this effort.  We applaud the mighty men and women of God at Cy-Fair Christian Church !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   We now have 200 children we are responsible for in our 6 churches in Reynosa.  In 2 weeks, all 200 need school supplies and backpacks.  They are sewing their own uniforms for school so clothes are not a priority.  I am not a TV huckster constantly asking you for money but if God gives you seed, please pray about planting it in some backpacks for His poor chilren in Reynosa !!!  All of this Glory is His and we hold it all up to Him as we bow and thank Him for honoring us all with His Kingdom assignment to His poor and hopeless,  bro david

Praise Lord Jesus the Christ !!!  Yesterday's service was the best church service that I have ever attended in my entire life.  And what made it so awesome occured not during the service but after it was over.  Let me tell you about God's Glory during the service 1st.  His message to us was so powerful and revealing of His mysteries.  God showed us how to get His Holy Spirit flowing back and forth from our spirits to our souls.  God showed us how to split that veil between our spirit, where He dwells in all of His fullness, and soul and allow us into His Holy of Holies and allow Him into our souls, into our minds, so we have the Mind of Christ, so we can be led by God and not by our flesh !!!  Scores of the lost received the Word and were saved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   Scores of the saved received the Word and repented of their sins and turned back to their Father !!!  The service ended in a glorious victory for our GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   But the food did not arrive.  We always serve a meal after the service but the saint assigned to bring the food was a no show.  150 congregants were hungry and ready to eat but no food.  We waited for 45 minutes as I prayed on how to handle this violtile situation.  Similiar situations in the streets have resulted in near riots.  I finally announced that apparently the food was not coming.  We need to pray for the saint that was bringing the food as they may be in trouble.  I also said we are shutting down so bring me your prayer cards and if you have a problem with not being fed, please see me and not Pastor Hope, the volunteers, or any of the ministers as I am the Director and responsible for everything that happens in this Church.  No food is my fault, not anybody elses.  But I added that this would be an excellent opportunity for them to show God that they were more concerned about receiving His Spiritual Food than filling their bellies with food.  I have been told for 10 years by the world, volunteers, friends, and ministers that the only reason the homeless come to our services is for the meal at the end and that if I wanted to see where their hearts really were,  just quit serving food.  They would stop coming.  The devil is a liar cause as they came and gave me their prayer cards, not one person complained.  In fact, many patted me and hugged me and consoled me and told me not to worry about the food as they had not come for food but to receive the Word of God.  When the last congregant filed past me, I broke down and cried.  I put my head down on the Bible table and wailed.  I would have embarrased you but I could not help it.  As I cried, many came and hugged me and prayed over me.  That really broke me down.  My extreme display of emotion was mainly due to the fact that I felt the Lord Jesus inside of me crying over the immense display of faith shown by the congregation to His honor. Also, I saw that all of the years of sacrifice and hard work by our ministry has not been for nothing but has accomplished God's Will.  I also felt the intense love of the congregation for me personally.  I also felt so unworthy to receive their love and so very unworthy to have the confidence of my Father to steward 1000 churches for Him!!!  Praise His Holy Name forever !!!  By the way, the food then showed up and we were able to track down and feed about 100 folks.  Please forgive me for talking so much about myself in this report, but I had to give you this glorious testimomy !!!  Please pray for me as I leave for Mexico this Thursday at 9 pm.   I love and adore Him and each one of you,  bro david

Praise Lord Jesus!!!!!!!!!!!!  Glory!!!   Glory!!!   Glory!!!  My words cannot describe what God's Word did last nite thru the Holy Spirit !!!   God loves to talk about His new churches in Mexico and He did so again last nite after a veil-splitting praise and worship service by Brother Vincent McCauley using an electric guitar and rock and roll music.  During the sermon,  God further explained the spiritual aspects of Mexico to us.  It is clear we have a runaway, wildfire, revival going on in Latin America and it is so powerful, it is reaching all the way back here to Houston.  We had 154 in the congregation, our biggest crowd on a Tues. nite in the history of this church.  Over 50 were saved by our Lord last nite and another 30 saints turned from their sin and turned back to God.  50 salvations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   30 repentences!!!!!!!!!!!!  HE IS HOLY!!!!!!!!!!!! As God told the congregation last nite, we are all part of these 1000 churches and we all are going to be rewarded for our work by the Lord Jesus Christ Himself on Reward Day in Heaven.  On that glorious day, the Lord is going to show everything and everybody in creation all of the saints He saved thru His 1000 churches to the poor and hopeless.  Then, and this is the best part.  Then, He is going to say to us "Well done my good and faithful servants.  Come up here to the Throne and sit by me."   Remember 2 things as you walk up: #1  Don't forget to set your soul-saving jewel encrusted crown at the feet of the Lord Jesus!    And #2  Watch out for me, cause I will not be walking but will be running to my King!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   I love and adore Him and each one of you and your families.  Please pray for me as I leave back to Mexico on July 28th,    bro david

Praise Lord Jesus the Christ!!!  I WISH I COULD IN SOME WAY LET YOU FEEL MY EXCITEMENT THIS MORNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Last nite was an incredible church service.  It was an awesome victory for GOD as everyone did their jobs and were wearing GOD'S full armor.  The devil never had a chance.  He never even scored!  20 Salvations!!!!!!!  40 Repentences!!!!!!!  60 to nothing out of a congregation of 109 people.  Just how powerful is that!!!  All of us need to thank God for our assignments in His ministry to the poor and downtrodden.  Thanking Him that we can please Him, make Him smile, and at the same time, put jewels on our crowns in Heaven.  Do you realize that one day these men and women that are being saved are going to approach you in Heaven and in front of the Lord Jesus, they are going to thank you for your part in their salvation.  And you know what the Lord Jesus is going to say about you:  " That's one of my good and faithful servants. He did My will on the earth. Come up and sit by me in your place of honor".  When you approach Him, take off your crown of rewards for being faithful to Him on this earth and place it at His feet !!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I told you I'm pumped up !!!!!!!!!!!.  God inspired me this morning for us to be His arms and legs to establish 1000 churches in the trash dumps of Latin America for the families that live and scavenge in these dumps.  He said the 2 churches we have now are the prototypes for His 1000 trash dump churches.  We are going to Mexico on 6-30-06 to start this work for Him!!!!   Please pray incessantly for His 1000 trash dump churches.  What a merciful, holy, full of grace GOD we serve, I cherish Him and you,  bro david

Dear Friends of God,
For several weeks we had been looking forward to Dominion Churches' Youth Group coming out to serve with us in  the Park.
The day arrived and about 15 ot them came. We were praying hard about the weather.
The rains had been predicted. Brother Kenneth had come out early even though he was supposed to be getting ready for his graduation. He and Patrick prayed against the rain.  Michele and I had prayed against asking God to HOLD THE RAIN TILL NOON.
We were set up in a very short time and the Youths formed an assembly line , some spraying and some wiping to get all the chairs cleaned up.  This is a major project for one or two people but with at least 24 hands on it, the chairs looked bright and shiny in quick order.
The girls lined up on each side of the altar and helped lead the Praise and Worship.
Brother Ken had taken three of the Youth young men to help Paint, and they accomplished a lot of painting with at least 3 different colors. Ken and Richard Salinas headed up the enthusiastic painters. I have to tell you this also!

The paint crew did more than paint, they put on gloves and did another clean-up on the Pink building, if you remember they had cleaned up and painted that building a couple of months ago. Well some of the homeless had been using that building and had trashed out a portion of it. When they saw the youth cleaning up their mess they felt very convicted about ther sloppiness. They approached Patrick and said "we feel really bad that those kids are cleaning up what we messed up. We are going to do so much better in the future"
Clint opened with prayer and I asked if any knew the Lord's prayer and Denise from Dominion Church volunteered to give it from memory.  The prayer fit in with the Lords message on forgiveness and letting God take our problems cause he Loves us and understands us and he knows everything we do and have been through and he wants to forgive us.

Another story: We had a great prayer line and the youth laid hands on many who came for prayer. They solemnly prayed for them with earnestness.
Some time later while food was being served. one of the congregants who had only been coming about 3 or 4 times to the service, came up to me and with tears in his eyes began telling me the burdens on his heart about his past. He went backin time to where he was 5 years old and his Aunt and Uncle made him kneel on a hard tile floor for hours for punishment. He was also abused in other ways when he was young.
He said he could not reveal these things to the youth when they were praying for him but they were so earnest that he felt moved to tell someone about these burdens.
As I ministered to him for about another 20 minutes, the tears and anguish just kept coming,. the Holy Spirit was really doing a work on him.
I finally asked him if he had ever given his life to the Lord Jesus and he thought long and hard about it. He had gone to church when he was young and he knew there was a God but he could never remember making Jesus his Personal Lord and Savior.
Right then I led him in the Salvation prayer and when he finished he said he had peace.
So thanks to the youth for following the Holy Spirits lead and praying with such fervor.
You assisted another soul into the Kingdom!
Thanks to all these youth and I hope I did not miss any:
Ryan Boone - John Boone - Athena Mavreas- Shelby Whitenberg -
Whitney Nolen,- Rickey -,KayCee Cearly-,Morgan Thurstonson,
Taylor Thurstonson, - Abby Babineux..
Thanks to the adults too from Dominion church who led with loving leadership.

Denise Anderson -Clint deGroot - Kellen Catlin -
There was so much food, desserts and drinks that they were serving thirds even on the food. They had planned for 85 to 100 but in realiy about 60 showed up.
We were praying out by 11:35 and Patrick and I took off from the Park at a few minutes ti 12,, at  2 minutes after noon, the RAIN came down in buckets.
Praise God, Lord of Heaven and Earth. wind, fire and RAIN.

Sincerly,
       Steve Hope

Dear Saints,
Praises to Our God and King. What an enthusiastic church service we had.
Gateway Church from Clear Lake area sent their best guitar players and singers.
They call themselves the Guitar Brigade.
WE enjouyed a variety of worship songs that included old time classic and contemporaray worship. Nicole kept the tempo up with her great singing and enthusiasm. Some in attendance were Kelly, Jeff, Mike, Cade, Warren and a couple of others who enjoyed their first time coming under the bridge. We were really blessed when Nicole sang a song that she had not practiced at any length. She wanted to do it for the Lord Jesus. She sang "Jesus take the Wheel" and the chorus has some really high notes. Her first chorus was a little shaky but she kept Praising our Lord and her second Chorus was great as the Holy Spirit gave her power to hit the notes.
Pastor Steve preached on boldness as Christians and following the examples in Acts of Peters boldness before the Sanhedrin
2 Responded to the Altar Call and some good one on one individual prayer took place with the prayer partners who people approached during our service.
Gateway served hamburgers and desserts and soft-drinks.
There were about 85 in attendance..
Love all of you!,
Pastor Steve

Praise our Lord Jesus the Christ!!!  He is the Ruler over all Rulers!  And the Authority over all Authorities!  In Heaven, hell, earth, and through-out all creation.  You missed a glorious battle yesterday.  I always arrive at the services a hour early to hand out bibles, prayer cards, and pray with individuals.  Upon my arrival yesterday, I was met by 100 of our congregants and several police cars.  The City has a new overtime program from 10am to 6pm to disperse the homeless from under the bridges and off of any city or state property.  They are no longer writing tickets for trespassing or putting us in jail for a city ordinance for trespassing, but they are getting TXDOT to file class B misdemenor charges of trespassing in county court.  This is a new law that is devised to keep the homeless in jail and not out on the streets.  It appears the City's new idea of dealing with us and the homeless is to put us in jail and keep us in jail.  I attempted to explain our calling from the Lord and that city council, the mayor, and all of the beat officers know us and what we do but it was to no avail.  The officer explained that as they were getting paid overtime to deal with the homeless exclusively, the police would show no mercy.  As the officer kept threatening me with incarceration, I finally explained to her that as she has a sergeant that is giving her orders, I have the Living God giving me orders.  As His servant and a former HPD sergeant myself, I was not afraid of her threats of jail!   I told her if she was threatening me with the treatment that our apostle Paul suffered when he preached the Gospel about Jesus Christ, I was scared, but if all the police were going to do to me was put me in jail I had NO FEAR!  At that very moment, the police officer was touched by the HOLY SPIRIT and smiled for the 1st time and said she did not want to incarcerate me but I had to move the congregation to an alley, still under the bridge, but 3 blocks down at Chenevert st.  This is the same location the Lord sent me to to pray over 5 years ago when we were under another big attack from the enemy using HPD.  Praise Lord Jesus!!!  We moved the congregation to this new location and will continue to use it for our Sun. afternoon services till the City runs out of overtime money but we will continue to use Crawford St under the bridge as our mon-sat at 9pm location as the overtime squad gets off at 6 pm.  I can' tell you much about the church service yesterday as the Lord had me stay at our old location and send folks to the new location as they arrived late.  I was also there to show the enemy and HPD that we were not giving this land up during the week but only on Sundays!!!  For the next 2 hours the police swarmed this Holy ground but no one stopped to talk with me as I sat on my stool in the middle of our church, reading God's Word and praying.  Pastor Hope said the enemy did not win yesterday as 158 attended our service and there were many salvations and repentences(Christians turning from their sins and turning back to God)  Please pray for God's churches under the bridge and in the park!!!  Your prayers put you on the front line with us!!!  I love and adore Him and each one of you,  bro david

Dear Saints,
Brother Kenneth had pre-graduation to attend to . Michele and I drove up with the new trailer that God blessed us with from Trailer World. We got a lot of good compliments on it and even though this was the first time to use it out in CIP, the unloading went faster. That is because there are 2 doors, the side door has access to sound system, tables and generator, The back doors have access to chairs only, Several people can unload in the back and several can unload the side.
This is such a blessing.
Brother Patrick is back with us after taking a 4-month vacation.  He was not taking a vacation from the Lord just a sabbatical from our ministry. He was the Brother who was so faithful to do set-up and sound for us for many months. Terry has replaced him at CUB but we will see in the near future how a schedule of the two DJ's can be worked out if it is God's Will. We were happy to have him in the Park today.
Brother Patrick brought our main message today on Jesus being tempted.
How hungry he was at 40 days of fasting and then the Devil said turn these stones into bread. How many stones does the Devil tempt us with when we are spiritually hungry and or weak, Are we turning those stones into bread for our flesh and neglecting the highter spiritual gifts and feeding available to us..  Even the angels ministered to Jesus when he was in his wilderness and they are ready to do the same for us. We have to deny the stones of the Devil and pick up the Bread of Life.
Michele followed up with some testimony of the defeat she had been experiencing because she had not been walking in Victory.  She had been allowing the dates of the past such as the date her mom died and the time she had to give up her son because of her wrong choices to cloud her vision. She had accepted the stones of defeat,
A letter by a dear friend of hers brought her back to her senses and she has been up many mornings now early spending time with the Lord, getting her teeth into the Bread of Life.
All at the service claim Salvation ,so prayers went up about our resolve to move forward in the good things God has given to us all. Walking Victoriously in the path of Righteousness. Accepting the fullness of Christ's sacrifice to wash and cleanse us from all sin. A shout of Hallelujah went up and a couple of people came forward with request for prayer.
We served 63 people with McDonald's sausage and biscuit with hash browns today.
The Lord is Good. !!!
Pastor Steve

Dear Friends,
Tonites message under the bridge stirred up one of our congregants about midway through the message and he started arguing with the preacher - Apostle Claver from CCEC Church.
I escorted him out and 5 minutes later he walked back through the Saints trying to stir up trouble. The enemy had a hold on him, no doubt, because even when he sat there he could not keep still. and his language was the cursing of the evil one.
Some prayed for him as I prayed to our loving God of Victory and soon he came back to apoligize, He then said a prayer for Apostle Claver,,, ( He and I prayed and I assured him that was the better way to handle things by prayer.)
Changes from the inside out don't come easy!  The Devil resists and tries to interfere but we counter attack with prayer and we have the shield of faith against his fiery missiles.
After the service we ate chicken and rice which CCEC had lovingly prepared.
We then circled around our new trailer, a beautiful white one, like the horse Christ Jesus rides. We had enough ministers and congregants to completely circle the 12 foot long Church on Wheels and Dedicate it with a prayer to God. We asked that anywhere the trailer goes will be called Holy Ground and anyone who sits in the seats that the trailer carries will receive Salvation and Deliverance.
We are a highly favored group. Come join us any evening and experience the Joy of the Lord.
Pastor Steve

Praise Lord Jesus!!!  The battle started over an hour before the service.  As Brother Vincent and I were preparing the church for service with prayer, we were deluged with police cars.  HPD cars were coming by every few minutes, stopping and staring at us, then driving off without getting out of their cars.  An apparent assault was being conducted against the homeless.  Finally an HPD sergeant stopped and approached me.  He stated the homeless can not sit down and sleep on city property as they were breaking the law.   I quickly explained who we are and what we do and that we do it every nite and day, 13 services a week and that we started 9 years ago.  He replied " Well I believe in God too and I appreciate what you guys do out here so get you some chairs out and get these men to sit in them so they are not laying down on the ground".  I explained the chairs were enroute and we would comply.  Remember our daily police prayer:  That God would save the police and send them to help us and not harm us.  That prayer is working.  God keeps sending us Christian police officers to serve as his ushers.  I say ushers cause as soon as the chairs were set up, everybody set down to avoid a police confrontation.   Now you know that God won last nite cause all of this happened way before the service even started.  But what a Victory service.  Brother Vincent sliced and diced the veils covering the hard hearts of the congregation with Holy Spirit inspired electric guitar, rock and roll, praise and worship. God's Word then planted the seed of the Lord Jesus in those softened hearts.  15 saved!!!  15 more repented!!!   Praise Him for His Victory!!!  After the spiritual food, we had lots of physical food.  Brother David Grizzle sent stew(and they loved that stew) and salad and Brother Richard Degner blessed Global Geophysical Services,Inc again by buying pizza again out of his pocket.  God fed 97 congregants!!!  What a Holy God we serve!!!  Please tell Him this morning just how precious He is to you.  And now for the best news,  I spent a lot of time at the fundraiser with Harold Shaw and the Lord has healed Him.  Also, guess who is coming home from from the hospital this week with the new heart you prayed in, Heather is coming home to her daughter and husband!!!  Praise Lord Jesus for her Healing!!!  You prayer warriors did a good job on both of these saints.  I love our God and each one of you!!!  bro david

Dear Saints,
Wow, what a wet morning, Thunderstorms rolled in early today and the truck had 8 inches of water in the bed. We we hooked up the trailer in a light drizzle, praying that God would give us weather mercy.
AT the Park I deduced the grass was very wet so I drove the trailer to a portion under the bridge nearby. We set up the chairs in record time and decided to dispense with the sound system because of the moisture in the air.
Brother Leonard started us off with song and I then sang my version of Hallelujah and I think people clapped when I stopped. They were praising God that I don't sing very often.
I gave a message on claiming the healing of God, using some of the following scriptures:
Galatians 3:13,14,
Eph. 6: 10-17
Phillipians 2:13
Phillipians 4: 6,7
2nd Tim. 1: 7
We had 47 in attendance and most professe Salvation. Several came up for healing prayer.
Michele had made Pasta Figoli and it was great.
We put the muddy chairs back in the trailer, so if you ever volunteer, ask if you can help clean the chairs up.
Praise our Great God and King.

Praise our Holy God Who dwells in our spirits !!!   A ferocious battle and an overwhelming victory for the Lord Jesus last nite!!!!  The Lord called in 67 for His service.  God saved 10.  God showed 10 and to repent and walk up out of the pig-pen they were in and to walk towards the Father!!!  In front of our spiritual eyes, the Father ran and met them!  God hugged and kissed them and told them everything was going to be all right.  God put the Robe of Righteous of the Lord Jesus on them.  God put the ring of the Holy Spirit on their finger so all of the spirit world knows they belong to Him and to not touch them without His permission.  He then put His Holy Sandals on their feet so now they can walk and be led by God and not by their flesh.  He then served them a banquet of warm pizza!!!   Everybody who wanted to eat got fed pizza and the Word Of Life last nite.  God brought in the "big guns" to serve last nite.  Brother David Grizzle showed up with our praise and worship leader for the nite, Brother Vincent Mcaully, and we were blessed with an electric guitar, rock and roll, worship service.  I believe the Lord has sent Vincent to us for a time!!!   Pastor Reagan Cocke of St. John the Divine Church attended and started the fireworks last nite with a powerful prayer.  Ed, Shawn, and Richard performed their regular services for Him and Richard keeps blessing Global by paying for the pizza again!!!   Lay reader Ricky hammered the Word into our hearts and Brother Terry performed his sound man duties admirably.  As we were leaving, one of our congregants who has come to church regularly since Dec/2005 approached us with tears in his eyes.  God has changed him from the inside out as he has not used drugs for 31 days.  He emotionally hugged us good-bye as this was his last service.  He was headed back home to his family in Conneticet.  What a powerful God!!!!!!!!!!!!   He is the God of forgiveness, redemption, justification, sanctification, love, holiness, deliverence, resurrection, regeneration, transformation, transfiguration, and restoration!!!  What an honor it is that He picked all of us to serve and protect His poor and downtrodden.  I praise and worship Him and ask you to do the same this morning!!!!!!!!!!  I love and adore Him and all of you,  bro david

Praise Lord Jesus!!!  Now that was church!  God sent 190 plus to the service.  God saved 25.  God showed 20 how to repent.  Same old story.  God wins!!!  45 to Zero.  Praise His Holy Name.  We have had a lot of violence and disorder in the church for the past couple of nites( we even had a knife fight on fri. nite) so God brought forth his elite warriors yesterday.  Brother Danny and Sister Teresa and Cy-Fair Christian Church showed up with chicken and dumplings but they also showed up with spiritual food.  Brother Danny preached for the first time and brought a informative Message of how to resist the devil by calling on the name of the Lord Jesus to counter his attacks.  Praise God for Danny.  Sister Linda Daniels did a great job on handing out prayer cards and bibles and keeping order!!!   But the most beautiful part of the service was the prayer line for individual prayer. God sent Dominions Church's youth group to fight with us.  Not only did the young soldiers pick up trash in a one block area surrounding our church thru- out the service but they all joined the prayer line to pray individually with our congregation.  God sent at least a total of 40 -45 prayer warriors.  When the call went out to come forward for individual prayer, the congregation stormed the altar.  Many received the Love of Christ by touching and talking to God with another Christian.  A lady that was visiting her son at St. Joseph Hospital stopped by to see what all the commotion was about.  She heard the call for prayer and came forward as she was very distraught as the doctors have told her her son is dying of aids.  It made us cry to see 15 teenagers run to her and lay hands on her and pray for her son's healing!!!  What a Victory!!!  God sent Sister Cheryl, her daughter, and her brother, Junior, to lead us in praise and worship and they exercised their Gifts admirably.  The service ended with Holy Communion with 80% of the congregation partaking even after being sternly warned by Pastor Hope not to do so if they weren't saved or if they had a grudge towards anyone and were not rite with God..  What a service!!!  What a God!!!  What a Victory !!!  We love Him and you!    PS:  THIS POSTSCRIPT IS IN CAPITAL LETTERS AS IT IS A CALL FOR HELP FROM THE BODY OF CHRIST!!!  OUR ANNUAL FUNDRAISER/AUCTION IS LESS THAN 3 WEEKS AWAY AND VERY FEW OF US HAVE STEPPED FORWARD TO HELP.  MONEY IS NOT THE ONLY WAY TO HELP.  PLEASE CALL MY DAUGHTER, SARAH, AT HER OFFICE AT 713-979-2037 OR ON HER CELL AT 832-526-5839 AND SHE WILL GIVE YOU SUGGESTIONS ON HOW YOU CAN SERVE GOD WITH US AT HIS EVENT.  THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR STANDING WITH US TO DEFEND GOD'S POOR!!!    bro david

Dear Friends
Peace to all in Christ,
Insights on the pain behind the scenes.
As the music played, the drone of voices carried throughout the auditorium.
With a roof over our heads it is easy to forget that we are outside, only the cars and trucks rushing by become our reminder. Sometimes I look that way, into the street, out of the auditorium into the traffic and I see the windows of cars rolled down, framing curious faces, wondering what is going on! I see sympathy in those faces too.
I see surprise and wonderment and I see pain, eyes that say, I wish someone would ask me how I feel. Not a quick, "How are you?-question that means no more than hello but a  genuine heart felt, slow, deliberate "How are you really?" 'Do you have pain in your life? What is it that is troubling you?', I am not here to condemn. I am not here to take the pain away either. I am here to listen, I am here because right now you are the most important person in the world. God has orchestrated you and I together for this moment in time. Face to face, then there is the softening, the trust that begins to bond, the truth that beckons the pain to come to the surface, the eyes, the window to the soul begin to tear up, the emotion of a distraught heart, a hurting heart, push the tears out and the pain comes gushing with them. They try to filter out the pain, separate it in some way but it comes, gently at first, a kind word is passed, then the throat pushes out some more, a name of a loved one, how long since they have talked to them, something they did to them, something they did to me, the failure I have been. The listener, (that is you) give them reassurance that you are listening, you are feeling their pain, you care, you listen, you weep, When the Holy Spirit moves them to express their pain, you must weep for them. The weeping they cannot do, you can, The Spirit grieves, the Spirit comforts, The Spirit dwells inside you and you are his Body for this moment in time when confession of the soul is supremely what this person needs. (James 5:16)
And as the tears still flow, you say "let's pray" and now you can, you really can because you have listened. You have listened like no one else on earth could. You take their hand and you pray what the Spirit gives you to say and what you don't say does not matter because the Spirit knows and groans. Groanings unutterable. At that very moment your Spirit connected with their soul. You left a touch of your Spirit with them. Your Spirit rippled like the still waters when the pebble dropped in its midst. You rippled the Love of Christ, the Rock who heals, living water gushing forth because you tapped the staff of a Shepherd who says you are His branches, You have budded like Aarons staff and you have saved a soul from many sins. (james 5:20)
My hat is off to you, You Saint of the Most High God, but more importantly, you have become a vessel of God, fit for honorable use and He loves your obedience and faithfulness. You have fulfilled the heart of ministry, you are God's partner. I hope that was your experience as you ministered under the bridge,
If that was not your experience, it can be. Won't you ask God to give you a divine appointment today. Someone needs your listening, someone needs your love.
Feel someones pain today. The ears of the Lord are open to your prayers, "It is better to suffer for doing good, if that is what God wants, than for doing wrong." (1 Pet. 3:17)
Do it with all the strength and energy God supplies.
Your Christian brother and sisters all over the world are going through the same suffering. After you have suffered a little while, Jesus will restore, support and strengthen you and place you on a firm foundation. (1 Pet. 5:10) (James 5:10, 13-16)
Be of good courage, be of good cheer, may the joy of God ripple your way today-because the trials will make you partners with Christ in his suffering and you will have the wonderful joy of sharing in his glory when it is displayed to all the world. (1Pet4:13)
With love and compassion,
Pastor Steve

Praise our Lord Jesus for always being in control and always having authority over everything !!!  Last nite's pizza service was a good 'un.  It started out shaky as none of the euipment worked and it was raining and stuff was getting wet.  Without God being in charge we would have been in trouble; but God is in charge of His churches and He stepped in and restored everything to order, including me.  Pastor Ron Spruill , who has planted lots and lots of seed in the CUB and CIP and CiM( church in mexico), visited and brought the Message.  He had a guitar with him that one of the band members of ZZ Top signed and he gave a testimony as to how the Lord arranged the autograph.  It was a miracle as ZZ Top no longer signs autographs as they all end up on Ebay and sell for several thousands of dollars.  BUT GOD told Ron how to approach the famous musician and sure nuff, he signed the guitar.  Pastor Ron then gave us this valuable guitar to auction off at our fundraiser on May 20th, Sat, at St John the Divine Church on Westheimer.  (If you have not got involved in this fundraiser yet and feel led to do so please contact me by email asap)  Pastor Ron said the guitar should bring 4-5 thousand dollars at auction.  The congregation responded gloriously to the Message from God as 10 people became Christians and 15 Christians repented of their sinful flesh-led lives and turned back to their Father to be led by the Holy Spirit !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  We had 68 in the congregation!   We had one Christian that wanted to go to a mission but a demon changed his mind at the last moment.  During the service, God showed this brother His Grace by planting a seed of faith in his soul to believe it was time for him to get off the streets and check into a Christian mission.  But he temporarily refused God's Gift of transformation.  His name is Walter.  Will you all hold him up in prayer and ask God to continue to show him His Grace and to grant him the faith to repent and go to the mission God has chosen for him???  We also had a man drive up in a limo who had been sent to us by another person in southwest Houston to learn how to start up his own street ministry.  I knew his face as he stated that he was formerly a street homeless person in Houston that God had changed and restored everything the enemy had stolen from him.  He stated he now had a good job driving a limo and was ready to start ministering to the homeless for the Lord.  You should have seen the Glory on his face and his handsome appearence.  He was wearing a fancy suit and tie with all kind of official ID badges.  His name is Don and He's coming back next Tues to preach a 10 minute semon.  Can you each one pray for Don and ask God to show Don His Will for his life???  I'm telling each one of you something rite now.  Don't be depressed. Don't be afraid.  Our God is almighty!!!  He can do anything and put all things back in His order.   Just talk to Him and read His Word.  He can take poor, downtrodden addicted men and women of the world and transform them into mighty men and women of God to perform HIS PERFECT WILL here on this earth.  I praise His Holy Name for being our Loving and Precious God !!!     I thank Brother Richard for bringing and paying for our pizza out of his pocket and for bringing the "sweets" !!!  I thank Brothers Ed and Shawn for pulling the church trailer !!!  I thank Pastor Hope and Sister Michele for bringing cold drinks for everyone despite Pastor Hope attempting to cut in the pizza line.(LOL)  One last prayer, can we all thank God for healing Heather, Harold Shaw, and the lungs of Pastor Ron Spruill.  Nuff said. God won again.  I love all of you dearly,  bro david

Praise Lord Jesus the Christ!!!!!!!   What a time we had with the Lord yesterday at the CUB.  The praise and worship was led by one of the congregants and he was led by Him as we were all touched by God!!!  Sister Susan Degner gave a powerful testimony on how prayer healed Heather and her father.  This led into the ministers praying individually with the congregation and many came forward for prayer.  God's Message for the day was so very powerful !  He gave us a Holy Equation:  Our prayer plus the Bible equals the Word of Life (the Spirit of Life) in our souls (our minds, wills and emotions).  He said to be led by the Holy Spirit and not by our flesh, we need to have the Spirit of life transfused from our spirits into our souls.  He even gave us an example.  He compared this transfusion that transforms our souls to taking a shower.  If we go to take a shower and all we have is soap and no water, we are not going to get very clean.  But if we had water to the soap, we will have suds to clean us and water to rinse us off.  He said it works the same way with a spiritual shower.  When we only use spiritual soap (the Bible), we do not have our souls washed with the Word and our minds do not get renewed.  But when we pray and read the Bible at the same time, we add the spiritual living water, the Holy Spirit.  The Holy Spirit Makes the Bible come alive. This Word of Life washes the sin out of our souls and renews our minds by replacing the sin in our souls with the very Life and Nature of Christ.  Now we can turn our backs on the world, the sin in our flesh, and satan and his demons.  Now we can be led by the Holy Spirit and walk with God!!!!  Praise His Holy Name for His Holy Spirit Shower with His Living Water!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  20 congregants responded to His Message by becoming Christians and 30 Christians repented of the fact they were living by their flesh and turned back to God!!!!!!!!  What a Glorious, Holy God we serve.  Brother Richard Degner brought a bunch of volunteers from Global Geophysical Services, Inc and from SJD.  They brought around 500 hotdogs and barbeque hamburgers and all of the fixings to feed the congregation of 175 people.  Sister Heidi and her husband, brother Richard, brought a bunch of ice cream cakes that really blessed us.  As you can see, everyone got all they could eat both spiritually and physically.  Our thanks and love go out to everyone, bro david   And guess what, God won again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Subject: Mexico

Brother David,
I was talking with Cele today about Mexico. He has been in prayer about this since he heard our ministry was wanting to start a church in Mexico. (About 6 months ago)
He has a friend (details later) that has 1-1/2 acres he wants to donate to a church or ministry.
It is about 2 hr drive from the Town of China  in the state of Novellion.
Also near Mellendes in state of Tamulitas which is where Matamores is. This land is about 2-1/2 hrs from Matamores. Matamores has a church, (A Christian Church) that may provide Pastors for any Church built. The idea is a pastor serves a week or two and then rotates with the next pastor. The Church could provide enough pastors so that each one only has to rotate every 6-8 months. Each Pastor only needs about $50 a week to be on staff every day and if several services are held each week, there would be food staples handed out after the services, much like what Childrens Activity Center does. ( And much like we do except the food does not necessarily need to be prepared.) Since this church would be in a country setting there would be many peoples who are indiginous who would travel in by foot or donkey or horse who would learn of the free food  distribution and would come to hear the gospel, worship and be encouraged and prayed for by the Pastor and volunteers.
Please be in prayer about this situation and please speak with Cele about more details. He has already traveled there twice and will be taking another trip in a week to 10 days.
May Gods unfailing blessings encourage our seekings.
Pastor Steve

Sincerely,
       Steve Hope

Praise His Most Holy Name:  Lord Jesus the Christ !!!  What a service we had yesterday !!!!  We handed out 112 prayer cards and had a total of about 125 people.  Sister Cathy Slomba, Vicky and William Rodgers, and 2 other sisters representing Tomball Bible Church brought spiritual and physical food!!!  Brother Malcolm was in attendance with his wife, Priscilla and he gave a testimomy on his life of drug addiction and how no changes occured in his life until he turned to God !!!  This gave God's Message to the preacher who again went to Luke 15 and showed everyone how nothing changed for the prodigal son until he walked up out of the pig-pen he was in and turned and walked back to his father.  When he walked to his father, his father ran to him, not walked but ran to hug and love and accept him back as his son.  The Holy Spirit revealed that's all His children have to do: turn from our sin and turn back to our Father God!  We don't have to walk to Him cleaned up and free of our sin, we just need to walk towards Him.  He will run to us and remove our sinful, unrighteous clothes and replace them with the Righteous Robe of the Lord Jesus Christ.  He will put on our finger His Ring which is the stamp of the Holy Spirit on us, marking us as His sons and daughters so the physical and spiritual worlds know we belong to Him.  He will put on our feet His Sandals which are the Spirit of LIfe that transforms our soul so we can be led and walk by the Holy Spirit and not by our flesh.  The Message was from God as 20 people accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour and another 10 that were already saved turned from their "pig-pen"and walked up out of it, and went to go meet their Father who ran to them !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   There was a lot of crying as the presence of the God was so felt by everyone at the service.  What a victory !!!  What a honor to serve our God by ministering to His poor and downtrodden who are so very close to physical and spiritual death at the hand of the enemy !!!  Let us all this morning reaffirm our conviction to serve in this Holy Battle !!!!   I love each of you so very much,  bro david

Dear Saints,
May God's mercies and blessings bring peace and abundance to your lives.
Brother Kenneth has been in further training this week and his wife Rita came with him on Tues, and Wed.  They do not have a vehicle yet so Brother Kenneth is walking to the store each morning before 8 am to buy food that will be served in the Park.
Michele and I arrive at their apt at approximately 8:45 to pick them up.
They Load the back of the truck with coolers of water and coffee and bags of oranges and cup-of soup and chips. We don't have enough room for OBEE (Kenneths brother in law) in the cab so he rides back there with the groceries. He has been a good sport about that.
When we arrive at the Park, Michele and I go sit at the picnic table and talk to the locals of the park. We have really been enjoying these relaxing times.
There are 2 to 3 persons that have really been very helpful to Kenneth, They are Rick, Gary, and Stanley, (also a couple more that I don't recall their names.) They help set up the church, which consists of 4 tables, 40 chairs,  a soundsystem, 2 speakers and stands, a CD player, a box of bibles, and as many smiles as God lays on our hearts.
In addition, there is the coffee and condiments, water and pastries that help make the whole process of work easier to deal with.
Brother Kenneth plays a song or two before church starts and that further gets everyones mind on God.
We start our day with Prayer so you know God is there.
Kenneth has been preaching his sermons on the fruit of the Spirit and today was on self-control.. I thought about how that fruit and it is probably one of the ones least mentioned but most needed. Those men that have been doing the Mens 500 have had to use a lot of self-control lately.( and we are proud of there efforts and accomplishments) There are 5 scriptures that mention self-control but there are numerous examples in scripture of people not using self-control and bringing heartache to their lives.
You could even use some self- control and look up the scriptures that speak about it.
Here they are: Acts 24:25,  1 Corinthians 7:5, Galatians 5:23, 2 Timothy 3:3,
2 Peter 1:6.
I used the NASB translation for my research.
Some translations may not use the word self-control,  they may use temperance or self-regulation or even incontinency.
Seargent Wick (Special Operations Police) came by today and spoke with us for a while, He told us about their once a month task force that joins forces with 4 other groups to approach the homeless and let them know about different programs available to them. He is a Christian believer and he knows that the most lasting changes come from the inside out, when the heart changes the mind begins transformation and God does miracles in their lives. Mr Farrel who is with the historical society came up while we were talking and engaged in our discussion about the location of some of the homeless under the bridges and far ends of the park. Mr Farrel also showed Kenneth the paint that can be used to paint the Pink building on the other side of Mckee Street near the bayou, (the one a group of us cleaned up a couple of Saturdays ago)
Seargent Wick was quite surprised to see Mr Farrel had been so congenial with us.
We are happy he is working with us to help the homeless get off the street WE are very happy changes are working in their hearts. Sometime the process is long but everytime it is worth it.. Jesus in them makes it possible.
Love all of you,
Pastor Steve.

I got Good News for you!!!  We're in Him !!!  and  He's in us !!!  Can you believe it ?  The Creator of all things, The Uncreated Living God is in you !!!  Same old story last nite.  God won as usual!!!  It was an interesting service though as the enemy tried a different strategy.  He sent several people with a spirit of alcohol drunkenness to combat us. They attempted to disrupt the service by talking loud and shouting.  One former US Army Ranger was quite abusive to Bro. Terry ( our sound man ) and myself an hour before the service even started.  We didn't combat these individuals by shouting back at them, or cursing back at them, or even praying over them.  We used one weapon on every one of these drunk spirits and deployed it the same way each time:  WE SHOWED THEM GOD"S LOVE !!!  And guess what, it worked on everyone of them.  You could see the shock on their faces when they saw the love of God coming out of us instead of the hate from our flesh.  Richard, Ed, and I lived Christ last nite.  That is the race that Paul ran, and that should be our main goal everyday.  OUR PURPOSE FOR EACH DAY IS TO LIVE CHRIST !!!  I am not saying that taking care of our family, working our jobs, or running a business are not important and necessary.  But I am saying that is not why we live.  We live to  " LIVE CHRIST" !!!!!  We live Christ by receiving God's Life into our souls from our spirits by "reading and praying" the Word of God !!!  The Word is the embodiment of the Spirit.  The physical manifestation of  God's Word is the Bible.  If you know you are saved and you know you are not living Christ, quit studying the Bible like it is a school textbook and start praying to God as you are reading it.  Read one word at a time or one phrase at a time.  To receive life from the Bible, you need to pray and read it from your spirit and not from your mind.  The Word is supernatural and must be received spiritually !!!!  Quanity is not important, quality is all important.  God may give you more Light from one verse thru "reading and praying" than reading 30 chapters like a schoolbook.  Back to the service, Brother Richard delivered the message and did God proud.  The congregation gave him a loud round of applause when he finished to show their appreciation for the Message and for the love that Richard, Ed, and all of Global show to them.  No recognizable Salvations but several repented from their sin and turned back to God and prayed that He would change them from the inside-out !!!  We handed out 74 prayer cards last nite and had 4-5 folks show up at the very end to eat pizza, so a total of about 80 congregants.  Please pray for Heather's healing, the training of our new minister(Bro Kenneth Brown), our upcoming fundraiser, for our former pastor, Sylvester Newsome, and for His 13 church services per week to the poor and downtrodden.  I am so happy He picked us to serve Him in this way,  bro david   PS:  One of our long time congregants is changing from the inside out and got blessed for it last nite.  At the end of the service, Brother Richard had Ed ask him to come and apply for a job on Wed at Global Geophysical Services Inc.  I drove the excited congregant to his motel after the service and he was so happy he stated "Brother David,  I am so happy and blessed by this job offer, I could jump out of your car.  You know this is an answer to my prayers.  God gave me this."   This is why we do what we do.  The smile on his face was worth a million dollars to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dear Saints,
We were joined in Saturdays service in the Park by a youth group from the Woodlands. Aaron brought 10 high-school and first year college young men out Saturday before last, looking to pass out food in the Park, they saw our church service and just wondered out loud but did not interfere in any way.. this time when they saw us they approached Michele and asked if they could join us. Of course she said Yes and they came and sat in the back row.. testimonies that morning included some of theirs.
The Lord Jesus Christ has his body everywhere in this world and we were grateful to have members of the body of Christ from the Woodlands.
The prayer call had taken place just before the Woodlands group sat down and was awesome as several people came up to receive.
At the end of the service, after the offering time (in which the Woodlands group were very generous givers) we made a special prayer request for Heather, everyone joined hands from the back row to the front and we asked God to either supernaturally heal her or put her to the top of the list for a new heart. We are waiting anxiously to hear some good news.. (her 5 year old daughter needs her mommy)
We ate good, I do not remember what we had but the Woodlands group added to it with homemade burritos that the young men had made early Saturday morning..
I love all of you,
Pastor Steve

Good morning Saints,
All praises to God,
May your day be filled with God's Grace.
Last nites service Under the Bridge was well received by over 40 people and a few others who came up at the end of the service.
The Lord had me speak on Titus 3:1-5.
Our bodies are stained with sin that no man can take out. Only the great stainremover, the Blood of Jesus can wash us clean, with only our faith in his finished works, he saved us through the washing and regeneration of the Holy Spirit. His grace makes us heirs with an inheritance in the heavens
Here God put aside his splendor with the Father, His kingly rule, His glory, and all his Divineness to be raised as a puny lowly human, for a finish that resulted in taunts from men and physical pain.  What an example of humility.
And he did it without complaining and so he asks of us to be obedient without complaint. Phillipians 2:14 says to do all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world. Be a light to someone today!
All partook in the Salvation prayer and we ended it with "we will not complain".
Most of the sandwiches we served were still partially frozen, we received only one complaint by someone who had not been to church to hear the word.
Better than that was so many people helped pack the church up afterwards that we did it in less than 10 minutes.
Brother Kenneth received a call last nite to  "Arise O Soldier" and go on a mission today.
I will tell you tomorrow what that mission was.
Thank-you for your prayers!
Pastor Steve

Dear Prayer Warriors,
I have to say that when this morning began, I was very weary. I had already kicked a box out of my way this morning that I had spent 10 minutes trying to  get the coffee maker back in. I had stormed and stomped up and down my stairs at least 4 times and I was having a fit to be tied...I was short with Michele this morning. I had to repent all the way to Brother Kenneths house.
Today was the first time that Brother Kenneth would be in full time training to pull the trailer.. I had pre-arranged to pick him up in my truck at 8:15 am. He then drove back to my side of town and we stopped at the store to buy supplies and food for this morning service. I had been up early and made a list..after that he drove me to the trailer and we stopped on the way for water. It only took 2 tries to get the trailer lined up with the hitch and we were off to the Park.. ...
It looked like it might rain but I prayed against it and went on in faith.. We got the church set-up and I prayed against the rain again, I felt drops, I prayed again , I felt more drops of water, they were getting bigger, I complained to God how weary I was, I couldn't  put up with any more interruptions or even tearing the church down and re-setting it up under the bridge..I couldn't understand why he wasn;t doing what I asked. I told him " I tell you what, it isn't any lack of faith on my part"  I started putting garbage bags over the sound system and the speakers. The first Praise song sung and then the rain began to come down..  and Brother Kenneth kept on preachin.  He said when he was a drug addicted dope fiend the rain did not bother him then and since He gave his life to Christ he could not run from a litlle rain.. 5 people sat in the chairs and did not move the whole 20 minutes he preached with the rain coming down.. a few people had taken shelter under some trees but they could hear the message where they were standing.. I stayed standing near the speakers cause I was taping the message.. (you can hear a bit of the rain in the tape).. I lifted my arms to God and was cleansed and refreshed by his cooling,  healing rain. He rewarded our tenacity with refreshment and I must say it was some of Brother Kenneths best preachin.
3 people came up for prayer and we joined soggy shirts in a hug and bowed our heads to the God of heavens We praised him for the rain again.. guess what the message was on.. Kindness. Oh conviction again.! !.!
And as soon as the message was over so was the rain.
We served cereal, milk. bread, coffee and oranges.
Pastor Steve

Praise LORD JESUS!!!  Sorry to mail you again but I had to give this faith-builder to you.  This morning I gave our recent offering checks and most of our offering cash to my daughter, Sarah, and told her to deposit it all today as we were very close to not being able to cover the expenses of our two churches for next week.  I told her to hold off making the deposit till after the mail arrived for the day as we were expecting two large checks.  Either check would assure the funding of the 13 church services for next week.  Let me brag on our GOD!!!  Sarah just called me and she has a $1000 offering check in her hand that just arrived.  Praise the LORD JESUS!!!  I didn't send this mail to ask you for money in a round about way but I sent it to build up your individual faith by seeing how GOD works!!!  But I am directly asking if anyone has an old pick-up, or van or a car that will pull our other small church cargo trailer to services 6 days a week, please let me know asap.  Our new minister needs it immediately and has $800 to pay down on it.  He will pay the balance off weekly and I will personally guarantee payment.  Please send this to every christian in your address book!!! Nuff said.  Now its up to YOU, LORD!!!   I love HIM and you,  bro david

Its the same old story, GOD won again.  Last nite's service had it all:  4 salvations, praise and worship, prayer, 2 God-touching solos from members of the congregation, and 2 combat christian soldiers from St. JOHN the Divine, Sisters Nancy Deforest and Carolyn Brady.  Sister Nancy gave us a powerful WORD from GOD from Luke 15 about the prodigal son.  Thru her, the LORD invited the lost and wayward in the congregation to come home to HIM tonite.  We could see the love and grace of CHRIST in her face and hear HIM in her voice.  Several made the decision to come home to their FATHER and have HIM love them and put on them the robe of RIGHTEOUSNESS!!!  PRAISE HIM!!!  If that wasn't enuff from St. John's, Sister Carolyn Brady wrote a check for the warm pizza we served at the end of the service.  After the service, a brother approached us and said he was a heroin addict but he wanted to turn his back on his sin and change.  He desperately wanted and needed help!   We took him to Victory Outreach Mission and checked him in to their 6 month drug program.  Let's pray for his transformation and deliverence from heroin and that the horrible withdrawal pain that this man fears so much would be diminished or eliminated by GOD!   We need to all realize that our prayers are very important and needed by our ministers, volunteers, and congregations.  Will everyone please bear down on praying for a vehicle that will be used by Brother Kenneth to pull our # 2 church trailer.  He begins using this trailer and vehicle on Mon. April 3rd.  GOD is always right on time!!!!  GOD WINS AGAIN!!!  I love HIM and each one of you!!!  bro david

Praise our LORD JESUS CHRIST for our full salvation!!!   GOD won again at Sunday's service.  The service included 176 in the congregation, 30 plus volunteers, Sister Cindy Bailey and 3 others from St. John the Divine, a youth group from another church, several police cars, a host of angels, Sister Teresa and many volunteers from Cy-Fair Church,  and the Director of the Church, THE HOLY SPIRIT.  The message from GOD was on changing from the inside-out thru the transformation of our souls by GOD transfusing HIS LIFE into our minds, wills, and emotions from our spirits where HE lives!  GOD told everyone that if they would read HIS WORD and pray to HIM as they read, HE would crucify the evil in their souls and replace it with the very LIFE OF CHRIST!!!  "READ AND PRAY!  PRAY AND READ!"  It was GOD and not the preacher speaking as 10 men came to salvation and 10 rededicated their lives to the LORD!  We then all shared HOLY COMMUNION with the LORD JESUS CHRIST.  This was such a HOLY event as no one talked, no one hollered, everyone listened, and the presence of GOD permeated everyone.  At the end of the service, we had tons of food and seconds and thirds for everyone.  I love HIM and all of you!!!  bro david          PS:  I started not to relate this story as it is personal between me and HIM but as it will increase your faith. Here it is:  Enroute to the church on sun., I stopped at a congregant's house to drop off some money.  Times are tuff for her as her husband is in prison and she only makes the minimum wage at her job.  She needed $200 in emergency money.  In my wallet, I had exactly that amount: (10) twenty dollar bills.  I was not a cheerful giver.  I knew that if I was going to give the money, I needed to give it to our 2 churches as we are experiencing a shortage of funds at this time.  But GOD convinced me to leave her all of the money, leaving me with nothing.  I thought no more about it and went to church.  When I got home from church, as usual I took the offering bucket and began to secure the LORD'S money.  I saw there was lots of change, several ones, 2 fives, a ten and a small white envelope with Bro david written on it.  This was a first for me so I immediately opened the envelope.  Enclosed was the exact amount and bills I had reluctantly given to the needy lady before church.  Believe it or not, there was (10) twenty dollar bills in the envelope.  I began thanking GOD for the miracle and HE told me this $200 was HIS money and that HE was giving to me (for the church under the bridge and the church in the park) to make up for the $200 I gave earlier.  So I would know it was HIM, HE made it not only the exact amount but the exact bills:(10) twentys!!!!!!!!!  I praised and thanked HIM and put the $200 in our church coffers.  HE is such a PRECIOUS, HOLY, SWEET, MAGNIFICIENT, LOVING, and POWERFUL GOD!!!!!!!  Let us each one this morning dedicate our lives to HIM, amen.
